Global Variables

The Dynamic Variables feature allows you to add a list of site and global-level variables that can be auto-populated into content across the site when inserted
into a page or post. For v1 of this feature, variables can be inserted inside a page or post, within most blocks (excluding Yoast blocks). Variables cannot be added to notice blocks or reusable blocks at this time.

Note that this feature is available through a plugin, and will need to be enabled on an individual site level while we are in v1. Please reach out to Alisha and Doug if you plan to utilize this on marketing sites.

Base Theme Updates

Table Block

  • Update for header row colors: header background color and text color does not apply to mobile table styles.
  • Fixes bug which caused the page to be unavailable in the editor when inserting a table block and not clicking ‘create table’.
  • Adds color selector to settings panel to modify the background color of the header row (see screenshot)
  • The column-width setting now applies to both Desktop and Tablet
  • Adds amend so if ‘custom column’ is enabled then disabled, the 50/50 settings is restored
  • Enhancement added to prevent columns being pushed off screen if the column title is set to a lengthy size

Column Builder Block

  • All column configurations now have a ‘stack/unstack on mobile’ toggle (See screenshot)

2U Engineering (2U integration plugin)

  • For use on Dev/UAT environments, ability to select taxi environment version on a per page basis. See Demo Video.

Siphonophore Block (Dynamic FAQ Block)

  • Adjustments to UI of block, to place block settings in the block sidebar rather than in the body area (see screenshot).

Mini Site Development

Programs Table

  • Fixes bug that caused data to shift across a column if data in previous column is missing
  • Raised cap of items allowed to be selected from 50 to 100
  • Fixes issue where there was no line break between the University + Program name any more, and the Sponsored tag no longer appears within the cell.
  • Fixes issue where data shifts across a column if data in previous column is missing

School Card

  • Fixed misspelling of ‘Enrollment’
  • Adds “Admission Requirements:
  • ” header on school cards
  • Fixes bug that caused the word “Sponsored” to not show up on the ‘Program Card – School Card’ (only the info icon is showing)

CTA & CTA with image

  • Fixes bug that caused card type to not append UTM params

Programs card

  • Adds an option to 1 – Show “Featured Headline” instead of the School and Program name
  • CTA Without Logo & Program Card – CTA With Logo Blocks, Featured Headline now appear as a title

CTA with logo

  • Sets a max-width of 350px on the logo image

All tables

  • Adds separator lines between all columns on all table formats

Schools table

  • Fixes bug – Schools not populating on the staged page in the same order they are added in the editor
