Release 5.8.0 Summary
Note: The primary focus for this release was block development for the Mini Site Migration project. Issues addressed for that project will not be included in this summary.
Header/Footer Override Blocks
- Fix for issue where logo overrides keep global alt text values. Settings for blocks now include logo alt text fields

Global Settings
- Update for font-family dropdown to be available for the ‘General’ settings as well as individual Heading / Display settings (previously was an open text field)

2U Image Block
- Adds an alt text field, and automatically pulls the alt text that is entered in the media library. See screenshot.
Other
We have updated to WordPress Core 5.8.2. This includes several security updates, and other changes that do not impact the 2U theme.
