Release 6.27.0 – 6.27.5

The 6.27.0 Release included an update to WordPress 6.8. Dot releases following this were for minor fixes.

Hero Block

  • Ability to place value prop list block before form, and lead intro text after form on mobile

Image Block

  • New ability to set a featured image in a blog post within image block setting (See screenshot)

Admin Features

  • The block options menu now includes a Cut action alongside the existing Copy option in the dropdown menu. This addition completes the standard set of content manipulation tools, making it easier to move blocks and sections from one location to another within your content.
  • The Add New Page command lets you create a new page from anywhere in the Site Editor, significantly speeding up the content creation process. You won’t have to navigate through multiple screens to start working on new content anymore. (Via cmd+K menu)
  • The Open Site Editor command offers one-click navigation to the Site Editor from Page or Post Editor screens accessed via the WP Admin menu. This makes switching between editing contexts much faster and more intuitive.. (Via cmd+K menu)

Legal Templates

  • Enable {{school_privacy_link}} variable for PP/TOU templates.
  • Add Umbrella Policy to Page Template Selector Dropdown

Other

  • Fix for issues where Licensure pages were loading very slowly in the editor. Note that the fix only applies to pages built with card blocks.
  • Fix for Analytics issues for Mega Menu experiment
  • Fix for issue where Copy/Duplicate Post option was no longer visible in editor.
  • ITRTN-595 Remove duplicate copy buttons in Page Editor
  • Yoast Plugin updates
