Core Flex PLP framework

We have added a new site type to our WordPress framework that will provide a more streamlined, performant framework for sites that are identified as “Core Flex”, having only PLPs and no organic presence outside of edX. The work completed in this release is phase 1.

  • Sites can now utilize two predetermined google fonts, Open Sans and Lora, without syncing from Vibram
  • Sites set as “Flex PLPs” aka “Core Flex” will have an indicator in the Global Settings (see screenshot)

Menu/Navigation

  • Settings to allow custom menus to appear at the page level. This was created primarily for HPU, but is available on all sites. Documentation will be added shortly.
