Responsive Image

This is a new block that offers better alignment with the WordPress core image block. This block should only be use if you need to manage different breakpoints (you have the ability to upload separate images for desktop, tablet, and mobile). If you only need a single image, you should now use the core image block. The Responsive Image block is meant to replace the 2U image block, and the 2U image block shouldn’t be used going forward

Navigation

  • Adds a toggle to set logo 1 to open in the same tab, and for logo 2 to open in a new tab. See screenshot.
  • Changes the conditionals in the Options > Settings > Header page so that if number of header rows is set to 1, then logo 2 will show by default. If header rows is set to 2 then both logo options show.

Hero

  • Fixes issue where the ‘min-height’ setting was not changing anything in the editor

2U Image

  • Fixes issue where right-align setting was not working when 2U Image block was inserted inside of a Column block 

Button

  • Fixes issue where Button – with Lead Form – when placed inside a Column, the modal for the form is confined within the column
  • Fixes issue where ghost button hover text color was being overwritten

Custom Card 

  • Fixes issue where the featured image was being cut off the card after it is transformed to the v2 block

Query Parameter

  • Adds new Query Parameter block giving the ability to dynamically control blocks of content based on query parameters. Mainly for use on PLPs or to display different content for audiences. Please reach out to Marketing Tech for additional instructions/use cases. This is very similar to the Optimizely block.

Other

  • Fixes issue where turning a Sidebar block into a Reusable block was breaking the styling on the front-end
  • Fixes issue where unsupported post types (eg. Navigation Menu Items) were causing the Dynamic Card block to crash in the editor.
  • Adds support to allow Global Variables to be used across all post types:
    • Notices
    • PLPs
    • Posts
    • Footer
    • External News 
    • Pages

Mini Site Updates

Programs Table

  • Adds the following taxonomies:
    • “Accrediting Organization“
    • “Concentration(s)“
    • “GPA Requirement“
  • Allows “Display Title” meta to be added to Tables with the title “Degree Name“
  • Inserts ‘N/A’ into any blank cells with no value on the Programs Table
  • Fixes issue when the  “Is Sponsored” toggle on the Table block is set to “off“, the logo and word “Sponsored” was still appearing in the bottom right corner when the table contains a mix of sponsored and non-sponsored programs.
  • Program Tables now pull through the default CTA URL for non sponsored and featured URL for sponsored.
  • rel=noreferrer noopener has been added to all external links on the Cards and Tables.
  • Fixes a bug where the tag was still being rendered on some table layouts when no url was provided.
  • Adds new taxonomies (Location, City & State) 
    • Adds option to the program tables in the editor to use location as a taxonomy on the column.
    • Renders the location out which is a combination of the city and state taxonomies.

Program Cards

  • Fixes issue where the School Profile Card was pulling colors from theme-accent instead of theme-dark
  • Fixes issue where adding a CTA With Logo to a page interfered with the styling of Lists & Cards later in the page
  • Adds the “Featured Headline” toggle to the Single Card and the Program Card without Image card types
  • Add dropdown selector to change header classes (h1, h2, h3 etc) to all cards
