Release 5.10.0 and 5.10.1 Summary
Global Variables
- Fixes issue when placing a variable in a schema tag, in the html generated we see the variable code, not the text itself. This will allow global variables to be added to blocks with schema tags.
- Fixes issue where usage stats for variables greater than 30 characters would return no usage data
Yoast FAQ and How-To Blocks
- Fixes issue where we can no longer copy/paste text into the Yoast FAQ and How To block.
Yoast Plugin Version Update
- Updates Yoast from 14.7 to 8.1
- This update fixes issues with redirect functionality not being available, and meta fields not being editable
Siphonophore-FAQ Block
- Moves Siphonophore-FAQ block from the theme and into the integrations plugin – this means that the Integration plugin must be enabled on a site in order to use this block.
Google Analytics / Tag Manager / Segment
- Addresses issue with Segment missing properties: it appears Segment Page call is firing before VisitorJS properties can be passed into the properties Object that the page call uses.
Other
- OneTrust script was updated to use a new workflow, since the old one is being deprecated.
- This release also included several fixes related to mini site migration blockers.
